Big Meech and his brother Terry Lee “Southwest Tee” Flenory founded BMF as a creative agency and Hip-Hop label in 1985. But it all came crashing down in the 2000s after federal agents concluded that the company was a mere front for a complex money laundering scheme.
The feds stated that BMF moved cocaine across the country, raking in more than $270 million in cocaine sales. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents razed Flenory’s cocaine empire in 2005 in a drug bust, with Big Meech, Southwest Tee, and more than 100 co-conspirators being arrested for their crimes.
