Fetty Wap can now be added to the list of stars who showered their loved ones with pricey Christmas gifts this year. In a tender moment between the rap crooner and hisright-hand man Monty, Fetty gifted him with a brand new BMW i8 for the holidays. Fetty surprised Monty with the whip in a garage, letting him in on the secret that the car was for him. The two Zoo Gang cohorts then gave each other an embrace.
Fetty’s breakout year included a No. 1 album, a Grammy nomination and history as the first rap artist in four years to have two No. 1 singles in the Billboard Hot 100. In a reflective post, the rapper/singer recalled fantasizing about luxury vehicles, noting that he never believed he would own one.
“Comin from we’re I’m from Ferraris and Lamborghini’s wasn’t even a dream more like a fantasy,” he wrote. “All I ever wanted was a Bmw now I completed my 6 serious collection 2004 bmw 645 2007 M6 2016 M6 … nobody will ever understand why I never look beyond what others may see my vision was so limited but I’ll overcome that in time #Zoogang the little things in my life still matter and that’s my prosperity.”
